The Simpsons: Hit & Run, A Playable Spin-Off Futuram Mod

The Simpsons: Hit & Run is a cult favourite, either because it’s never been replicated or because it combines The Simpsons Futurama. Forget GTA IV, Ocarina of Time, and 2018’s God of War revival, there’s just one game that deserves make best-of lists.

The Simpsons: Hit & Run was released in 2003. Radical capitalised on GTA III’s popularity after The Simpsons: Road Rage’s success. Now, fans are trying to do the same with Futurama.

What is The Simpsons: Hit & Run with Futurama Mod?

The Simpsons: Hit & Run: Futurama has a more convoluted history than The Simpsons since its 1999 premiere. Futurama has been cancelled twice, but its fans would still want a video game. Futurama: Hit & Run is great.
Slurm Team’s three-year project reimagines the Hit & Run playstyle in the future. The project is a thorough conversion mod for the OG Hit & Run that aims to “replicate the gameplay of Hit & Run in the setting of Futurama with all from scratch 3D models.”

The Simpsons: Hit & Run’s trailer shows controllable versions of Fry, Leela, and Bender. Tinny Tim, Angleyne, and NPC Cygnoids appear, along with a variety of vehicles and classic outfits including Fry’s astronaut suit. This is likely only the tip of the ice(Zoid)berg.

When Does Futurama: Hit & Run Out Premiere?

Slurm Team confirmed the demo will be released in late August or early September. A complete release date is uncertain. We don’t sure what the demo would feature, but we assume a beginning level. The game’s narrative is unknown, although it’s probable that Mom will be a villain.

Donut Team has unveiled Hermes, Amy Wong, Calculon, and Nibbler character models, presumably for character quests. If you can help, the team needs 3D character modellers and voice performers. The Simpsons: Hit & Run is perhaps the largest obstacle for Futurama: Hit & Run, but that’s our problem.
