Wooden Crate Terraria: The Wooden Crate is a pre-Hardmode crate that can be found by fishing in any biome, at any height. It is the lowest tier of standard crate and has the least value if sold directly. Its Hardmode equivalent is the Pearlwood Crate.
Even though a Wooden Crate usually has the least valuable rewards, it is the only one that drops ores. As such, it is one of the few ways to get “alternative” ores on these versions.
Crates always have random loot in them, like potions, pieces of ore, and a lot more. They are easy to find while exploring, if you know where to look. Keep an eye out for Crates in Terraria. They are the world’s way of giving the player a little gift, which is a far cry from how cruel it is most of the time.

Information About Crates
