Realme GT Neo 5: Realme’s upcoming GT Neo 5 has been leaked a lot as the company gets ready to show it off at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month. Several leaks suggest that it will be the first smartphone to support fast wired charging at 240W and run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
Today, a prototype GT Neo 5 was found in the online database Geekbench, where it got a score of 1,279 for a single core and 3,902 for multiple cores.
The prototype in question comes with 16GB of RAM and runs, not surprisingly, Android 13. The model number RMX3708 was also found on the motherboard that went with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which may mean that the benchmark results are related to it.
Prototypes are being tested in the open, so soon we should see the official release. There will likely be a 4,600 mAh battery in the 240W variant of the Realme GT Neo 5, a 6.74-inch 1240×2772 AMOLED display, a 50 MP primary camera with an 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP decorative sensor, a 16 MP front-facing camera, and a notchless design. A subsequent version, with a 5,000 mAh battery and “only” 150W charging, is in the works.
