Playtime Co.’s iconic toy, Huggy Wuggy, is a beloved symbol of their cuddly brand. Unfortunately, they conduct some truly repulsive trials which give Huggy Wuggy an intense human conscience and deep-seated hatred of people (we understand your sentiment, Wugster!).
His role in the story?
Poppy Playtime Chapter 1’s main adversary, Huggy Wuggy, stalks players through the plant. Once you get the key to the main plant, Huggy Wuggy vanishes.
He lurks in shadows throughout the chapter. He won’t hurt you yet. At the end, a tall, soft toy with fangs appears from the shadows and stalks you to become his meal.

Huggy Wuggy had a happy disposition before Playtime Co’s trials, but after those tests the toy has turned into an evil entity with wicked intentions. His smarts and cunning are evident as he plots to capture and devour his prey – making for even scarier viewing.

Chapter 1 ends with him falling into a huge pit, hitting a pipe, leaving bloodstains behind and landing in an unknown void. While his fate remains uncertain, future chapters may feature him. For example, Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 requires you to fight several smaller Huggy Wuggys in order to progress.
