Squid Game Season 2: Netflix has officially renewed Hwang Dong-dystopian hyuk’s survival drama Squid Game for a second season.
Squid Game blew over Netflix in 2021, racking up billions of watching hours and redefining how the streamer judges show success (fans even smuggled Squid Game into North Korea, it was that successful).
Netflix announced Squid Game season 2 immediately after its launch. Naturally, narrative, character, and release date data are few at this time, but we’ve gathered what we know thus far.

Hwang told Vanity Fair in May that Squid Game season 2 would have more risky riddles, implying that Gi-hun may return to the secluded facility from the first season.
