Pentiment PC System Requirements Are Announced by Obsidian

Pentiment PC System Requirements: Obsidian Entertainment reveals Pentiment’s system requirements. The narrative-focused adventure game offers choice-driven storytelling set in 16th-century Bavaria, featuring artwork inspired by great mediaeval manuscripts and some of the oldest, most highly acclaimed printed books.

Obsidian Entertainment has concentrated on large-scale 3D role-playing games like Fallout: New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity until recently, but Pentiment is a change of pace. Pentiment’s story and graphic aesthetics are its main charms. Low-spec PC players won’t have any trouble playing.

Obsidian has verified that practically everyone can run Pentiment on PC based on previews. The minimum GPU is a 2012 Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti, combined with an Intel Core i3-3225. Pentiment demands 12 GB of storage space, owing of its stunning visuals.

Obsidian has indicated interest in making another Fallout game, although that’s not their main focus. Pentiment looks to be Obsidian’s side project, where the company aims to explore narrative-driven gameplay. In the meanwhile, its AAA-level projects are progressing, although little information has been revealed.

Obsidian Entertainment hasn’t commented on previous Avowed screenshots. Avowed is, for all intents and purposes, a complete unknown, and the studio is nearly absolutely mute about it. Obsidian will certainly promote the first-person ARPG more when it’s ready, but that’s not the case currently.

Pentiment’s setting will delight Obsidian Entertainment enthusiasts. This is the first mediaeval RPG with this graphic style. The idea of a choice-driven narrative system where the environment transforms based on player selections is intriguing for fans of the studio’s prior work.
Pentiment releases on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series on November 15, 2022.
