Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen: Houston, Texas-based Pappas Restaurants, Inc., often known as Pappas Restaurants, is a privately owned restaurant business. Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Pappas Seafood, Pappas Bar-B-Q, Pappas Burger, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, Pappasito’s, and Yia Yia Mary’s are a few of its namesakes.
Pappas Bros. Steakhouse won the title of Texas’ top steakhouse in the December 2007 edition of Texas Monthly.
The Wine Spectator Grand Award has been given to Pappas Bros. Steakhouse Houston every year since 2010. The same honour has been held by Pappas Bros. Steakhouse Dallas since 2011.
Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen: Story
Beginnings. 1897. The pleasant, friendly ambience and family-focused approach of Pappas restaurants began before 1976. It started with H.D. Pappas. In 1897, he left Greece to follow his goals in America. He built restaurants throughout Tennessee, Arkansas, and Texas with a passion for quality and service. H.D. taught his sons and grandkids to value quality and service. Pete and Jim went into the restaurant equipment and supply industry, unlike their father. 1945: Pappas Refrigeration opens. Jim’s sons Chris and Harris built their first restaurant in 1976, completing the family’s American dream.
