Fire Staff Code and Upgrade Guide COD Black Ops 3

The Fire Staff is one of four Elemental Staves featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles and one of its most powerful weapons. You can upgrade this weapon for even greater damage output and wider area effects – an indispensable addition for any serious zombie hunter!

To build the Fire Staff, you will need to collect three parts:

  • Part 1: Awarded for turning on Generator 6.
  • Part 2: Dropped by the Panzer Soldat on Round 8.
  • Part 3: Found in the wreckage of the plane that crashes into the map on Round 7.

Once you have all three parts, head back to Crazy Place and place them on the pedestal in the middle of the room – this will bring forth a Fire Staff which you can then pick up.

How to Upgrade Fire Staff In COD Black Ops 3

To upgrade the Fire Staff, follow these steps:

  • Enter a church and look for four symbols on its wall. Each time you play, these will change, but their order remains constant.
  • Descend the stairs and locate four torches that correspond to each symbol on the wall, shooting them in order.
  • Once all four torches have been shot, an orb will appear in the middle of the room; use your Fire Staff to shoot this orb!
  • Reach the Crazy Place and place the Fire Staff on its pedestal. Kill zombies until your staff has been upgraded fully.

Here is a more detailed guide to each step:

Step 1: Find the four symbols in the church.

The four symbols will be located on either wall of a church, one on each side. Their positions will differ each time you play; however, their order remains consistent. To find their positions more quickly, look for a note taped onto the right-side wall that has numbers written on it that correspond with your chosen order of symbols.

Step 2: Shoot the four torches in the correct order.

Once you have identified the order of symbols, head downstairs and locate four torches which correspond with them. They should be situated somewhere such as:

  • Torch 1: Situated near the stairs in one corner of the room.
  • Torch 2 can be found near the platform in the middle of the room.
  • Torch 3: Placed behind the altar at the back of the room.
  • Torch 4: Place it near the entrance to Crazy Place in one corner of the room.

Arrange the torches according to the symbols on the wall.

Step 3: Shoot the orb with the Fire Staff.

Once all four torches have been shot, an orb will appear in the center of the room; shoot this orb with the Fire Staff to break its spell and destroy it.

Step 4: Upgrade the Fire Staff in the Crazy Place.

Go to the Crazy Place and place the Fire Staff on its pedestal, killing zombies until it has been fully upgraded.

The upgraded Fire Staff offers several new features, such as:

  • Increased damage and area of effect.
  • Launch a fireball that explodes after some seconds to launch a secondary attack.
  • Ability to ignite zombies, leading them down the path toward slow, extinguished deaths.

Upgraded Fire Staffs can make an enormous difference in your battle against zombies. Make sure that you upgrade them as soon as possible in order to maximize their effectiveness in battle.
