Atlas VPN Free: Atlas VPN is a free plan that surpasses several bigger providers. As with other free VPNs, the monthly bandwidth cap is 10GB (or an amazing 2GB a day for Mac users).
You can only visit the Netherlands, LA, and NY. better than Hotspot Shield’s US-only package, but Windscribe has 14 sites in 11 countries.
Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS have good applications. The free version only allows two simultaneous connections, so you can’t use it on all your devices.

Atlas VPN Free: Atlas VPN’s applications don’t compromise privacy while being free. Strong encryption using WireGuard and IKEv2/IPSec protocols shields your traffic from snoopers, private DNS secures your browsing history, and a kill switch keeps you safe if the VPN connection stops.
The applications functioned in our tests. The kill switch had several usability concerns but prevented internet traffic when the VPN failed. No DNS leaks or other vulnerabilities were found in our leak testing.
The firm sometimes violates our privacy. If you provide your email address to establish an account, you’ll get marketing emails until you opt out. The Windows programme transmits use data to Atlas VPN until disabled. No reason to suspect the app is providing anything malicious, but providers shouldn’t do this without your consent.

Atlas VPN Free: Atlas VPN’s Windows programme is crowded with status panels, tabs, and menus. It’s too complicated.
Location list usability difficulties. The free servers aren’t listed first. You may squander time perusing the complete set to see what’s accessible. No Favorites to speed up reconnections.
Depending on your VPN requirements, this may not matter. Connect to the closest Atlas VPN server, then disconnect when you’re done. The app connected in a few seconds and delivered acceptable speeds with no connection problems.
The app’s rudimentary features won’t please experts. WireGuard supports free VPN speeds, and the kill switch protects you if the VPN fails. Auto-connect, tracker blocker, and data breach monitor aren’t included. Free and commercial Windows programmes lack split tunnelling, stealth support for circumventing VPN filtering, configurable DNS settings, protocol changes, and other sophisticated features.
Atlas VPN Free: App for Mac
Atlas VPN Free: Atlas VPN’s Mac software looks like the Windows version, which is helpful if you use both (learn one, then the other).
The Mac programme sorts by region, with Asia at the top, so you must scroll down to reach the free servers. Both the Mac and Windows applications should have shown locations in the same sequence.
This won’t matter if you’re merely clicking Connect. The app connected fast and provided stable speeds. 2GB each day is a plus.
As with Windows, features include a kill switch, IKEv2, and WireGuard. Atlas VPN’s SafeBrowse blocks harmful websites as a bonus. SafeBrowse is only accessible in the commercial version of Atlas VPN, but we’re not complaining.
Atlas VPN Free: Apps for iOS and Android
Atlas VPN Free: Atlas VPN’s Android and iOS applications look and function differently than others.
The Android app’s portrait design features just the Connect button and a navigation bar. The iOS version’s landscape design uses screen space better, with the Connect button, locations, and other data up front.
Similarities abound. WireGuard and IKEv2 provide reasonable speeds, and a kill switch protects you if the VPN fails. The Android app provides split tunnelling, but nothing more.
Free VPNs aren’t very powerful, but they function well enough. One swipe and you’re online, with reasonable speeds and no VPN dips.
Atlas VPN Free: Performance
Atlas VPN Free: Atlas VPN Free’s 10GB monthly data limit prevented us from doing our comprehensive VPN performance testing. We ran 10 SpeedTest app tests from a UK data centre with a 1Gbps connection to test the service.
Our WireGuard connection achieved 320Mbps. That’s about half what we anticipate from commercial VPNs, but it surpasses most free competitors. Recent testing only favoured PrivadoVPN and ProtonVPN.
AtlasVPN’s free service doesn’t unblock streaming sites. Some free VPNs give more than expected, so we tested them. Atlas VPN Free blocked Disney Plus, but not US Netflix, Amazon Prime, or HBO Max.
We evaluate if the company’s free service supports P2P. We downloaded torrents from the Netherlands, New York, and Los Angeles.
Conclusion
Atlas VPN Free: There are several minor flaws with Atlas VPN, including privacy concerns, a lack of capabilities, and poor app design, and it doesn’t truly shine in any one area. However, none of these issues are severe, and when you look beyond them, you’ll see that it’s an excellent free VPN overall: quick, with 10GB of bandwidth, P2P, and even some success in unblocking.
