After God of War Ragnarok, The Witcher 3: Wild Chase is the second most highly valued PS5 game of 2023. The Witcher 3’s latest iteration, available for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox One X as of December 14, came with a lengthy list of improvements over previous generations.
The release of The Witcher 3 was well-received by the gaming community, and the game now holds a Metacritic score of 96. A look at the PS4 version’s Metacritic score reveals that it has a score of 92 for the first game released in 2015. Considering that Elden Ring also has a perfect score of 96, this is a huge win for CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3. Beam following is now supported on console versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Chase, and a new setting allows for smoother 60 FPS action. However, Xbox One S players aren’t interested in beam following features, but they do want 60 frames per second. Other than the ability to instantly project Signs, The Witcher 3 also features a plethora of new camera options and an additional Ultra+ level for PC players.
