Muerta Dota 2: Dota 2 Unveils the New Hero at TI

Muerta Dota 2: Dota 2’s newest hero, Muerta, is inspired by Mexico’s Dia de los Muertos. After the all-star match, Dota 2 revealed Muerta, its newest hero. The game’s 124th hero will be Muerta.

The long-running MOBA lets players play heroes with distinct skills and responsibilities. Dota: Dragon’s Blood, a Netflix series about Dragon Knight and Mirana, evolved from a competitive game for casuals and professionals. The game is over 10 years old, yet The International has grown the esports sector.

Dota 2 unveiled Muerta, a skull-faced hero with marigold flowers, before the TI11 Grand Finals (Day of the Dead). In the 50-second teaser film, she takes out a revolver and morphs into a wraith-like being surrounded by Ghosts that’s ready to penetrate the curtain and “haunt the roads,” suggesting she’s a ghost roaming among the living. Dota 2 will release her early in 2023.

Muerta Dota 2

Dota 2 hasn’t revealed Muerta’s skills, although some think she’ll be a ranged carry or an agility hero like Sniper. One YouTube commentator thought she could aid the squad after dying in-game. Others are assembling her Dota 2 lore. Muerta’s teaser speech suggests she and Phantom Assassin are Sisters of the Veil.
Dota 2 fans were ecstatic about hero’s revelation. OG and Evil Geniuses appear eager to test her. Many fans complimented Muerta’s design, praising the game’s first Mexican hero.

Muerta Dota 2: With over 120 heroes in Dota 2, some players may want a hero with unique skills that fits the game’s strategy. Players favour the former, since Muerta might change the meta. If Muerta is a hard carry, she should be able to farm throughout engagements. The next hero won’t debut until 2023.
