MTV Video Music Awards Events
The Video Music Awards have a long tradition of being an amazing event. Both the epic kiss that took place between Madonna and Britney Spears in 2003 and the Blurred Lines performance that Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke gave in 2015 will be remembered forever in the annals of pop culture. We still have one more month to go before the gala, and we can’t wait to find out what significant events will take place this year.
To ensure that you are up to date and prepared for the big night, the following is a rundown of everything you need to know before the Video Music Awards are broadcast live from the Prudential Center at the end of this month.
Is There Anyone Deserving of Being Nominated?
With a total of twenty victories, Madonna has established herself as the most lauded artist in the history of the Video Music Awards (VMA). This year, she received her 69th nomination for her project MADAME X. Maybe she’ll finally let a new guy kiss her for the first time this year.
MTV Video Music Awards: Artists with the most nominations this year
This year, Jack Harlow, Lil Nas X, and Kendrick Lamar each had seven nominations, making them the artists with the most nominations overall.

Who will perform in event?
Even though the official list of performers has not been revealed, it is likely that several of the nominees will be participating in the show in some capacity.
Who will host the event?
Nobody has any idea who will host the event just yet, but whoever it is will have their work cut out for them if they want to top Doja Cat’s performance as the host of the event from the previous year. In the not-too-distant future, we look forward to learning the announcement as well as seeing the full roster of performers.
