Migos could be on their way out. According to XXL Mag, the rap trio, which comprises of Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff, is rumoured to have split up professionally. The announcement comes shortly after it was revealed that Quavo and Takeoff would form Uncle and Phew to produce songs. If the breakup allegations are accurate, it’ll be surprising because the three are connected, with Quavo being Takeoff’s uncle and Offset’s cousin.
Migos breaks up
According to the newspaper, on Tuesday, the Twitter account @Kurrco noticed that Offset had unfollowed Takeoff and Quavo on Instagram. Cardi B, Offset’s wife, has also stopped following the two rappers. This finding coincided with Quavo and Takeoff’s announcement that they would be releasing their own music under the moniker Uncle and Phew. “Hotel Lobby,” their new single, will be released on Friday. The new duo broke the news with a photo of the track’s cover art, which shows them seated in a car, looking back at the camera.
