However you must learn two Hogwarts Legacy charms to reach remote spots. Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Keys Locations
Astronomy Tower
Find the key in the side task The Daedalian Keys by following the waypoint to the top of the Astronomy Tower. It will descend the tower into the classroom.
Central Hall
Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Keys Locations: In the northern corner Central Hall is this Daedalian Key. It is on the left before the garden door past the figure in the centre.
Clock Tower Lower
You need Alohomora to unlock doors and boxes to open the Faculty Tower and this and the next Daedalian Key. Enter the Clock Tower through the Duelling Wands gate, mount the steps, and turn left. The key flies up to the closed drawer.
Clock Tower Upper
Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Keys Locations: If you’re going from the Faculty Tower/Hospital Wing, climb to the top of the Clock Tower. The Faculty Tower hallway ends below this key, which soars into the Medical Wing.
Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower
The rhinoceros skull is upstairs from the main hall in the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom. The Stash in the Castle task requires finding this artefact. The key will go upstairs.
Dungeons 1
Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Keys Locations: Jackdaw’s Rest ends in the Dungeons. This Daedalian Key is drifting in the hallway if you turn left down the steps. Instead of going up the steps turn around and go left to find the closed case with the house key in the corner of the room past the barred gate.
Dungeons 2
Continue walking down the hallway until it reaches its end and turn left, passing a sleeping dragon figure and discovering an airborne key suspended above him or her; taking this key will cause it to fly towards an open box on your left side and unlock it.
Entrance Hall
Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Keys Locations: The key goes down the steps to the box next to the boar figure in the Entry Hall.
Faculty Tower
When Gladwin Moon teaches Alohomora, you can obtain this one. While slipping through the Faculty Tower to recover two Demiguise Statues, you’ll mount steps with a proctor facing the other way, solving a number riddle. Move forward to trigger the Daedalian Key, which will fly down the steps you came up to a sealed box at the bottom.
Grand Staircase
Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Keys Locations: From the Entry Hall climb the Grand Stairs until two-thirds up. It is near a white-bearded old magic picture. The key races downstairs to the box near the Floo Fire near the Hogwarts Legacy number riddle near the main stairway.
Great Hall
Fast travel to the Great Hall and look on the other side of the room for a Daedalian Key flying near the fireplace. This key will take you back near where the Floo Flame was and up some stairs on your right-hand side to find an unlocked cabinet.
Library
Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Keys Locations: Enter the Library from Central Hall’s left door and turn left. This key is between two bookcases right of the hearth. It leads to the Library’s back right house key.
North Hall
Entering from the Transfiguration Courtyard, it’s close to the staircase near the globe ahead of you. It’ll fly up the stairs, past the Cache in the Castle treasure location, to the top by the portrait of a drumming woman.
Potions Classroom
Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Keys Locations: Fast travel to the Potions Classroom Floo Flame location and enter through the door; there’s a key flying around right outside it. Open the corridor sealed box by descending the spiral stairway next to it.
Quad Courtyard
From the Quad Courtyard Floo Flame location, turn right and head past the fountain with the serpent, then up the three short stone staircases behind it. The Daedalian Key is flittering around at the top.
Viaduct Entrance
Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Keys Locations: To unlock the Viaduct Courtyard Floo Flame, traverse the bridge and enter through the Viaduct Entrance on your left side. Take a left turn; you’ll find a Daedalian Key under stairs leading down to a locked cabinet in the middle of the room down one set of stairs on either side.

Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Keys Locations: Find the flying Daedalian key and follow it to the cabinet to open it. Daedalian keys are often found near large sealed cabinets. Listen for snitch-like wings fluttering. The Aural Visualiser in the accessibility menu can help you find the bell sign suggesting a buried item.
Keep close as the key won’t fly directly towards a closed drawer – they often move between stairs in an effort to escape! Instead it will land on the shelf where it can be interacted with. Slap the key into its lock to open your drawer by pressing its button; Nellie advises placing house tokens into your house box for each Daedalian key drawer opened!
