According to rumors, the game will come out in three different Xbox versions: the Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Ultimate Edition, with the former being the smallest at only 40 GB.
Early this year, Windows Central announced that the game’s May release date was confirmed. Members of the Diablo team have pushed back on this report, although no concrete date has been given.
At Thursday’s The Game Awards, the trailer and release date should be revealed. There will be an announcement later this week, and Diablo’s social media outlets are now conducting a “Lilith is coming” campaign to build anticipation.

Due to the move toward a live service model, players will begin each season with a brand new character. The negative reaction to Diablo Immortal has led to the decision to keep microtransactions in the game, but they will no longer affect a player’s ability to level up.
