Bioshock Movie: A Positive Update is Finally Provided

Bioshock Movie: Would you… update us on BioShock on Netflix? Since Ken Levine’s initial BioShock, why haven’t we made a film? Following the initial game, we got BioShock 2 in 2010, BioShock Infinite in 2013, and BioShock 4 is on the way. It sounds like we’re going to Rapture for a movie.

The original two BioShock games were set in Andrew Ryan’s underwater dystopia, which has become associated with terror owing to splicers and insane scientists. I Am Legend filmmaker Francis Lawrence is working on a BioShock movie for Netflix, and he’s finally given us an update.

What is Happening to the Bioshock Movie?

Bioshock Movie: Lawrence promised to “end” the video game curse that doomed DOOM and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.

Lawrence on Blade Runner 2049’s Michael Green: “He’s currently writing it. We already have our perspective, framework, etc. He’s writing.”

“Me, Cameron [MacConomy], and Michael [Green] are doing what we want, which is amazing,” Lawrence said.

“We’re talking to Take-Two and Ken Levine about keeping authentic to the game,” he said.

Estimated Release Date for Bioshock Movie

Bioshock Movie: Sonic the Hedgehog and Detective Pikachu are reviving video game adaptations. The Witcher, HBO’s The Last of Us, and Amazon’s Fallout and God of War programmes are examples.

Netflix is recognised for its original content, including Stranger Things, Black Mirror, and Bird Box. The streaming giant is also adapting Gears of War. First what?

BioShock is merely in pre-production, and with no cast revealed, we don’t expect it to be released until 2024.
