Tomo-chan Is A Girl! will air in Winter 2023 with an English dub and Japanese original. The English dub cast for Crunchyroll’s forthcoming romantic comedy animation Tomo-chan Is A Girl! been unveiled. This adaptation is eagerly expected by fans of the manga, which won the 2nd Next Manga Awards’ online manga category. Tomo and Jun, closest friends from childhood, are currently in high school in the manga adaptation.
The story follows Tomo, a tomboy martial artist who wants Jun to see her as charming. It is based on the online manga that was published on Twi4 Twitter and collected into 8 volumes. He sees her as “one of the boys” and doesn’t take her love declaration seriously.

She works for Funimation, New Generation Pictures, and Bang Zoom! Entertainment. She voices Japanese anime shows and video games in English. Suzuka and Ouran High School Host Club are two of her ADR credits.
Tomo-chan Is A Girl! is the first time Crunchyroll uses the same voice actress for the Japanese and English dubs. Sally Amaki, a member of the digital idol group 22/7, plays Carol Olston in both languages.

Tomo-chan Is A Girl! will launch on Crunchyroll on April 4, 2023 with the original subtitled Japanese version and the English dub. German, French, and Russian dubs will follow at a later, unspecified date.
