April’s centrepiece is Atomic Heart, the sole Game Pass title revealed. The BioShock-inspired shooter’s teasers and previews have impressed us despite its problematic development.
Game Pass Release: Atomic Heart is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Mundfish, a Russian video game developer. It is set in an alternate universe where the Soviet Union never collapsed, and is set in an alternate version of the USSR in the year 1938.
The game features a mix of open-world exploration, puzzle-solving and combat, with the player controlling a special agent who is sent to investigate a mysterious facility that has gone silent. The game features advanced physics and AI, as well as an open-world environment that allows for non-linear exploration. Atomic Heart has been in development for a number of years and is expected to be released on PC and consoles in the near future.
