On Saturday, the actress’s Facebook profile was updated with the tragic news that she had passed away. Griggs, who had been candid about her fight against cervical cancer on social media, said a month ago that she had been diagnosed with four additional tumors in her body.
Actress First Appearance
Griggs made her first appearance on the television show One Life to Live in the character of Stephanie Hobart in April 1991. She remained in this role for a total of six episodes. It was in 1993 when she first appeared on Another World, playing the part of Maggie Cory, and she remained in that role for a total of two years.
In the years 1986–1988, she first appeared on Nickelodeon’s Rated K, a program in which young people gave their opinions on various films. She entered this world on April 30th, 1973 in the city of Tunkhannock in the state of Pennsylvania.
Following her work in soap operas, Griggs went on to become a leading actress in a number of horror films, including Severe Injuries (2003), Dead Clowns (2004), The Absence of Light (2006), and Hellweek (2007).

Griggs said, “I love to laugh—that’s my way of dealing,” and added, “I made sure to find something humorous to think about.” There are times when I just want to curl up in a ball and feel sorry for myself, but then I pull myself out of it and remind myself, “Hey, I’m still here.”
