LineageOS 17.1 Discontinued On Link Now Lunch LineageOS 19
LineageOS 19 is the most well-known custom ROM that’s out there that offers many Android devices with light close to stock versions of Android. LineageOS 18.1, which is an os based upon Android 11, is the most recent version. However, now that Android 12.0 is coming out in the meantime, many users eagerly anticipate the next version, LineageOS 19.0. We don’t know when the latest versions of built-in Android 12 will arrive; the LineageOS team has just announced that they’re terminating service for LineageOS 17.1.
In a Reddit post in a Reddit post, The LineageOS team disclosed the fact that LineageOS 17.1 is built-in Android 10.10 has retired. This means that new LineageOS 17.1 aren’t being developed going forward. The group claims they were forced to do this due to the storage limitations on their servers for building.

If you’re using LineageOS 17.1 on one of the devices mentioned above you are able to run the ROM in its current form, but keep in mind that there won’t be new updates.
This means that you’ll miss crucial security patches as well as other enhancements. The best option is upgrading to LineageOS 18.1 in the event that it’s installed on your device or switch to a custom ROM, which is still in development.
At present, LineageOS 17.1 builds are available in the LineageOS download page. The team has stated that the recovery and builds will eventually disappear from the site.
