Realme X7 Pro Review: Performance

MediaTek Dimesity chipset makes things interesting. Dimensity 1000 Plus powers the Realme X7 Pro. It’s a 2.6GHz octa-core CPU manufactured on 7nm. 5G chip. Realme is betting on 5G despite India not having a consumer-ready network. Onboard NFC.

The gadget has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage in India. The smartphone lacks microSD card expansion. 111GB of internal storage remains. The gadget has a vapour cooling mechanism to manage heat.
Dimensity 1000+ is a powerful chipset. Although not MediaTek’s newest processor, it performs well. In real-world tests, performance was as excellent as the OnePlus Nord or Xiaomi Mi 10i. It flies through anything.

Realme X7 Pro Review: Cameras

The cameras on Realme smartphones are excellent. Realme X7 Pro has a 64MP Sony IMX 686 sensor with f/1.7 aperture. The 8MP(f/2.25) ultra-wide camera, 2MP Black & White portrait lens, and 2MP macro camera follow. 32MP punch-hole camera takes selfies.
Sony IMX686 captures sharp, true-to-life images. The image’s dynamic range and white balance are also good. Exposure and focussing are also well-handled. The bright, vivid, somewhat oversaturated graphics look nice on the AMOLED screen. Standard photos are 16MP. 64MP option captures images with higher detail but takes longer.
The phone captures detailed low-light photos. The default photos lack clarity, but Night mode offers improved exposure, smoothness, and noise. Night mode may be improved for better images.

Realme X7 Pro Review: Battery Life

In this regard, Realme outperforms rivals. Realme X7 Pro has an above-average 4,500mAh battery in 2021. Realme’s 65W Super Dart charging speed enables you charge the phone in 40 minutes.

The Realme X7 Pro’s battery life is average. A full charge in the morning will last till late evening. My screen time consisted of playing games, viewing movies, IMs, calls, etc. I averaged 6 hours of screen time without playing games throughout testing.
All these outcomes were with brightness at 80% and refresh rate at 120Hz. You may change these settings to obtain greater battery life. We wouldn’t advocate 60Hz. Once you use 65W rapid charging, 20W to 33W seem sluggish. By the time you charge it and return from the shower, it will be at 65% from 5%.

Purchase it if..

  • You consume a lot of content: The Realme X7 Pro will make a wonderful companion for viewing movies and television programmes because to its clear 120Hz AMOLED screen and dual audio speakers.
  • You want insane fast charging: The phone can charge from 0% to 100% in only 40 minutes thanks to its 65W rapid charging. Everyone would want to have this feature.
  • You want something thin and light: One of the greatest thin and light phones in the category, the X7 Pro has a thickness of only 8.5mm and weighs just 184 grammes.

Don’t purchase it If

  • You care about Android updates: The Realme X7 Pro runs Android 10 but will get Android 11 soon. Android 12 will increase detail.
  • You want the best camera in the segment: The phone’s main camera is excellent, but the others aren’t. Xiaomi Mi 10i is the finest midrange camera phone.
