According to his profile, he is currently developing two PlayStation games: the sequel to Death Stranding and an undisclosed AAA first-person shooter. PCGameAbout further posits that this unnamed first-person shooter game is connected to Firewalk Studios, a development studio launched in 2018 that is now home to ex-Destiney, Call of Duty, Apex Legends, Mass Effect, and Halo creators.

According to the article, this first-person shooter game from Firewalk Studios is the only officially announced FPS game to receive funding from PlayStation. In 2021, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Firewalk Studios reached an exclusive partnership for the development, publishing, and distribution of Firewalk Studios’ first AAA-class multiplayer game.
Death Stranding 2 is the sequel to Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions’ critically acclaimed game from 2019. At The Game Awards 2024, after numerous cryptic teasers, Death Stranding 2 was announced.
Also, Hideo Kojima has stated categorically that this will not be a typical sequel. For those who haven’t played the previous entries in the Death Stranding series, he has other ideas besides recycling a few references from the previous chapter.
